The company Aquis was founded by Andreas Wawrla in 1995 is based on a 30 years know-how in the field of water treatment and water management of his primary parent company, which is already approved by well-known customers such as: Miele, Bosch/Siemens, Electrolux, Whirlpool/Bauknecht, V-Zug and so on. These basics are used for engineering and manufacturing of innovative sensor faucets and novel water treatment.

Aquis specializes in the field of sanitary equipment and offers a wide range of infrared sensor operated electronic faucets. We have developed a special solenoid valve that is the heart of these high tech products. Enabling new, low power, miniaturized solutions for digital electronic controls setting new standards for function, features, and reliability.

Today Aquis is the leading manufacturer of automated sanitary fittings and their products are sold worldwide, partially under their own brand iqua but also in cooperation with other well established companies in this sector. The main markets are Central Europe and America. In recent years the Middle East, India and South East Asia have also become very important export markets.
